First Touch
PARKING ATTENDANTS
We have many people that attend our services on Sundays and most of them arrive by car. Our Parking Lot Attendants directs vehicles to their designated parking spaces. They also ensure there is adequate parking for the elderly, expecting mothers and handicap guest. Our number one priority is to create a welcoming atmosphere to every person that drives onto our facility.
GREETERS
Greeters are the second point of contact on Sundays as they have the responsibility of providing a warm welcome to all that come through our front doors. In addition, they direct visitors and guests to the appropriate areas of the church, such as the nursery, bathrooms and the main auditorium. We want all that enter the foyer to feel as if Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church is their home away from home.
USHERS
Ushers have several tasks, not the least of which is to make sure all attendees have a bulletin and a place to sit. In addition, they take up the offering, hand out our First Time Attender Forms and provide whatever assistance may be needed before, during and immediately after the service.
Music
The Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Music Ministry is to inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.

The mission of the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Praise Dance Ministry is to praise and worship the Lord through the God-given gift of dance. We wish to touch the lives of people in such a way to bring about "real" change, encouragement and/or conversion in their lives.
The Bible says, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel."
We have an amazing opportunity to share the gospel through the creative avenue of Drama. Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church serve during major presentations, ministry support and community outreach.

Our couples’ ministry is designed with your spiritual growth in mind. We believe in the importance and power of a strong Christian home. It all starts with the consistent spiritual growth of those over the household. Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Couple’s Ministry is an opportunity to strengthen your relationship as a couple.
NURSERY
The purpose of the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church Nursery Ministry is to provide a welcoming, nurturing atmosphere for the nursery age children of our members and visitors, which honors the Lord and supports the parents in the care and education of their children, in a consistently safe, clean and wholesome facility through a caring, qualified, and motivated nursery staff.
Community Service
TRANSPORTATION
The Mount Pilgrim Baptist ChurchTransportation Ministry was created to provide a means of transportation for all who are in need to come to worship in God's House. We dedicate ourselves to the advancement of the Kingdom of God by providing a safe and convenient way for seniors, youth, and physically challenged members to attend various church services and functions.
We serve with a smile, a prayer and a promise to obey God's command to be disciples.
The Transportation ministry currently picks up members to attend the 11:00 AM Sunday worship service.

INTRAMURAL & RECREATIONAL SPORTS
Through participation in physical activity, the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church seeks to promote wellness, develop friendships, and to encourage wise use of leisure time. We believe there is something for everyone.
Missionary
Every son and daughter is called to be a Missionary; we are called to the service of God and our Fellow man; and to fit us for this service should be the object of our education. The Missionary Worker must be taught, how best to help the poor and to care for the sick and to work for the unconverted. The true Missionary is personally concerned, he/she has a deep love for people, is greatly concerned about their needs, not only physical and material, but their soul’s salvation and spiritual health as well. He/She is a Missionary everyday and on every occasion. This is not merely an aspect of his/her life, it is his/her reason for living.
The Missionary Ministry of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church is striving to attain all of the aspects of good Missionaries. Our purpose is to worship God in a joyful fellowship, to impact the community with needed and caring service and to invite all people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ as together we prepare for the second event and an exciting eternity with our blessed Lord and Savior.
